Lunch Program:
Ongoing throughout the year.
The lunch program, totally run by volunteer parents, was established to offer our children fresh, healthy, and hot lunch options. In addition to accomplishing this primary objective it also serves as a fundraiser for the school. Based on feedback received from parents and kids, we continue to revise and improve the lunch offerings. The lead parent volunteer administers the lunch program and oversees monthly online ordering, coordinates with the chef and liaisons with the Parents' Association. Other volunteer positions include volunteer coordinator (making sure there are parent volunteers each day to serve lunch), Payment Coordinator (manages charging credit cards for the lunches) and Supplies Coordinator (makes sure there is always enough ketchup, napkins and utensils).

SchoolPop:
Ongoing throughout the year.
UPA is a member of the Schoolpop network. Schoolpop is a web portal where you register. When you shop with any of their 500 registered retailers (i.e. Lands’ End and L.L. Bean,) a portion of your purchases are returned to Upland in cash. The administrator of the Upland/Schoolpop partnership does the administrative tasks online at the Schoolpop site and occasionally reminds the Upland community to register. The best way to get involved or support this project is to go to www.schoolpop.com and register with Upland Country Day as your school. Any purchases you make online will automatically be credited to our school.
