Located in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, a few miles from the Delaware border, Upland's campus spans 23 verdant acres, with four academic buildings (one of which houses our state-of-the-art maker space, the Kleberg IDEA Center), a performing arts and athletic facility, the BeeSchool Preschool, and the John M. Cleveland Ice Rink.
You will also find a picture-perfect treehouse that redefines what a classroom can be. Our students and teachers use and explore every inch of this campus to the fullest. Learning and play spill into the outdoors every season of the year, and students of different ages cross paths and connect as they make their way between buildings. It's a special and memorable setting for an extraordinary experience.

Frequently Asked Questions
On your visit to Upland you can expect to see the entire campus including the academic buildings, outdoor learning facilities, and our athletics, arts and science spaces. We tour in all-weather (just like we learn!). Please dress accordingly. A campus tour is the best way to learn about our outstanding programming while getting the feel of our community and school culture.
We pride ourselves on giving tours that address the specific interests and needs of your child. You’ll observe teachers from just outside their classrooms. When available, teachers eagerly share about their programs and answer questions.
BeeSchool tours take about 30 minutes. Full-campus tours take about 45 minutes to an hour. Add 15 minutes if you’d like to see the John M. Cleveland Ice Rink.
That depends on you and your family. Students must be able to keep up with the tour which includes moving between several indoor and outdoor learning spaces that are very appealing (especially to the littlest Bees!). If transitioning from space-to-space will be challenging for your child, we recommend an adults-only tour for your first visit.
