"I have three children at UCDS- pre-K, 5th and 7th. The education they receive is well rounded. Having the students do full participation means well rounded students. They learn to work with others and to stretch themselves past their comfort zone. I went to unionville Chadds ford SD and still remember when the kids from UCDS came in 10th grade. They were comfortable with public speaking and seemed so much more confident than my peers. Because of seeing this first hand I knew UCDS developed thoughtful well rounded students. I’m so happy my children get to experience this special place."

"This is a true prep school, which does a phenomenal job in both placing students in top high schools but also preparing them for success after graduating. They're curriculum includes use of the "Harkness" method as well as their new design thinking/maker space lab. Such a wide-variety of academic and curricular offerings."

"We found the Upland Country Day School by chance when our oldest son was entering the 3rd grade (and we had two incoming Kindergarteners) and we knew he needed a smaller environment However, what we found when we visited was an incredible diverse curriculum that included the arts-language-sciences-technology-community service opportunities even at their small ages! It was incredible! What I also did not anticipate what the sense of community and family that we found! The teacher and the parents have become a second family to us! The teachers are beyond loving and kind but they have helped guide each of our 3 children to be the best they could be and to open themselves to amazing opportunities. The Teachers at Upland treat our kids as if they were there own children! I will tell you without a doubt that even after 5 year at Upland there has not been ONE day that my kids have gotten into my car and said that they have had a bad day! They love school! They love there friends-they are challenged-and they are growing-they are learning and they love it!"

"Upland is an incredible small school. The children are really known and understood by their teachers. Those that need nurturing get it and those that need extra challenge get the push they need. I have 4 very different kids and it has been an incredible experience for all of them. Two have graduated and were accepted into the high school of there choice and have hit the ground running. I can't say enough good things about this little gem of a school."
