Seventy five years in, Upland Country Day School is now at a crossroads of a big goal and a broad vision: to build the School’s endowment to strengthen its institutional foundation, and to enhance its ability to invest in its people and programs. Upland is not far off from achieving a $1,000,000.00 matched gift put forth generously — and competitively! — by the Buttonwood Family Foundation.

Endowment Gift Designations
There are a variety of ways to contribute to Upland’s capital campaign.
Unrestricted
Unrestricted endowment gifts provide the most amount of flexibility for the School as it determines needs, such as responding to unexpected economic challenges, investing in programs, or building a stable foundation for operations.
International Program
With the enthusiastic leadership of Stefanie & Matthew Goeller ‘04, Upland is building a fund within the endowment to support its international program. This fund will support Upland overseas travel, homestay stipends, and related programming.
Alumni Scholarships
Named for John M. and Ellen B. Cleveland, this fund is used to support scholarships for qualifying children of Alumni.
Diversity
Named in honor of Upland Alumnus, Ernest P. “Ink” Ross ‘74, this fund is used to support Upland’s commitment to diversity.
Faculty Development
Named in honor of Joan M. Stroud, this fund is used to support professional development opportunities for teachers.
Performing Arts
Named in honor of Debra Wade Latoff, this fund is used to support the performing arts at Upland.
Pledges & Recurring Gifts
