The Upland Girls added another unforgettable moment of their own, capturing the 26th Upland Girls Invitational Championship in dramatic overtime fashion.
Facing a talented Princeton Tiger Lilies squad, Upland battled through a thrilling back-and-forth championship game before 9th grade captain Stella D. ’26 sealed the title with an overtime wrist shot from the hash marks, completing an incredible four-goal performance and securing a 4–3 victory.
Behind the offense was another poised effort in net from Lila G. ’28, whose calm presence helped steady the team throughout the championship run.
Another banner will rise in the rafters — and another memorable chapter has been written in Upland Hockey history.
