Upland Boys Lacrosse Wins Upland Lacrosse Invitational

The Upland Varsity Boys Lacrosse team finished its season on a high note by winning the Upland Lacrosse Invitational.

Upland opened the tournament with a win over Kennett Middle School before facing Saint Edmond’s Academy in the championship game. Saint Edmond’s had won the previous four meetings between the programs over the last two seasons, making the matchup an especially tough challenge.

After a hard-fought game, Upland earned the championship with an overtime victory. Ninth-grade captain Patrick Cleary scored the game-winning goal following several key saves from goaltender Kyle Cucinotta ’27.

Led by captains Patrick Cleary, Parker Evans, and Ethan Holmes, the team embraced its season-long motto of EAT — Effort, Attitude, Together.

Coach Swarter called the group one of the best teams he has coached during his time at Upland, praising the players for their commitment to each other and the program.

Congratulations to the boys on a great season and a memorable championship win!
