Upland Soccer has made history.

In the second year of the Upland Soccer Invitational, the Bees captured their first-ever Invitational Championship trophy, bringing home gold after an unforgettable weekend of competition, community, and excitement.

Hosting Benchmark, Westtown, and Pierce, the tournament showcased competitive action from start to finish, but the defining moment came in a dramatic semifinal matchup against Benchmark. After a back-and-forth battle pushed into extra time, goalkeeper Kai O. ’27 delivered a remarkable performance in sudden-death penalty kicks, recording seven incredible saves to keep Upland alive. Nick D.’27 provided the offensive spark with two clutch goals to help propel the Cougars into the final.

The championship marks another exciting milestone for a growing program built on teamwork, determination, and school spirit. Credit goes to the players, coaching staff, and entire Upland Athletics community for creating a memorable event and a well-earned victory.

The first Invitational trophy is heading home — and it feels like just the beginning for Upland Soccer.
